How do I see all tabs in Safari?

Press ⇧ ⌘ \, or choose View, Show Tab Overview. Every tab in the window appears as a thumbnail in a grid. Click one to go to it, or start typing to filter them by title.

On a trackpad, pinch with two fingers on the page to open the same overview.

How do I search tabs in Chrome?

Press ⇧ ⌘ A, or click the tab search button at the end of the tab bar. A list of open and recently closed tabs appears. Type to filter it, then press Return.

How do I see tabs from every window?

Tab Overview shows the current window. Chrome's tab search covers every Chrome window. To see every browser window instead, use App Exposé: press ⌃ ↓. See App Exposé.

How do I close tabs from the overview?

In Safari's Tab Overview, hover over a thumbnail and click its close button. In Chrome's tab search, each row has a close button.

Move between tabs by keyboard: switch tabs shortcut. Keep the ones you need in Tab Groups.
