How to see two Notion pages side by side on a Mac
The Notion app shows one page at a time per window. How to open a second window, use peek, and arrange Notion beside your other apps.
Open a second Notion window with ⇧ ⌘ N in the Mac app, go to the other page in it, then tile the two windows with Fn ⌃ ← and Fn ⌃ → on macOS Sequoia and later.
Notion's own ways
- Side peek: open a database item to the side of the page instead of full screen, from the database's layout options.
- Tabs: ⌘ click a link to open it in a new tab.
- The browser: notion.so in a browser window gives you a second view without the app.
Notion beside other apps
Notion is often the plan, with the work happening elsewhere. On a ClutterFreeMac strip, keep Notion in a narrow column at one end (Settings, Apps, keep at the start) and your work in wide columns beside it. See product managers' setup.
